The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) has provided over $510 billion for small businesses around the country. But did you know that the PPP is set to expire on June 30?
After that time, it’s unlikely that businesses which have not completed an application will be able to participate in this unique COVID-19 relief program. The deadline of June 30 is fast approaching but is applying for the PPP right for your business.
As per sources around 130 Billion still left in the PPP allocated fund unclaimed and congress will not likely agree to extend this beyond June 30.
If you have applied elsewhere and have not heard back, try asking again, and that would be the best option at the current time.
Instruct the original lender to withdraw the application and get ready to move forward. Lenders are responsible for preventing fraud in the program and must verify your requested amounts since they will be the ones processing your forgiveness request.
